Description

Traveled half way across the country from Wisconsin to California so I could follow my dreams of becoming an actress. I'm documenting my adventures along with the struggles of the true Hollywood story of a no name girl trying to break into the filmmaking industry. I'm not going to sugar coat anything or lie about my experiences to make the journey sound better then what honestly is going on. I will be revealing the true reality, the success if any, and the heartache of what happens when trying to reach this one in a million dream. So come on this roller coaster with me and my dog Gizmo to see for yourself what it takes to make it, what it doesn't, or maybe you'll realize this dream could in fact be for you.

Another Film "The Contract!"

Last week I got together with a friend of mine and we decided to create another short film! We are tired of waiting around for the phone to ring to let us know we have an audition, so instead of allowing other peoples power to control our destiny we have realized we should just create our own video projects! I think we are getting better at our shorts each time we finish one. Yes! There are still more things we need to improve on but that is where learning will come in and no one is born with knowing how to create outstanding films right off the bat! It's a working process.......

This film is called "The Contract" Katie Ryan plays the neighbor and wrote the short. I play the girl with a dog who comes over to the neighbors house because i am frantic something bad will happen to me which then means my dog Dazzle will be all alone. I want my neighbor to be the god mother of Dazzle, but I don't just stop there. I have a contract of pages of what she has to do for Dazzle!

THE CONTRACT:

This video was filmed by us and i was the editor. Just the two of us girls and my dog GIZMO!
Anything is possible as long as you put your mind to it!
Cause who knows: WHAT COMES NEXT...

  1. You know what? That was very entertaining Jahnna-- I really mean that! I can't wait for "The Contract: Part 2". I know I didn't offer any constructive criticism or anything, but I didn't really see anything to constructively criticize. I look forward to the next short film from you girls!
